1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using HideJobs — including the browser extension, the web application at app.hidejobs.com, and the marketing website at hidejobs.com (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Acreative Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), the company operating HideJobs. Payments are processed through Stripe on behalf of Acreative Inc.

2. Description of Service

HideJobs is a job search companion platform consisting of:

• Browser Extension: A Chrome, Edge, and Firefox extension that enhances job listings on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Seek, and other supported job boards by filtering, hiding, and organizing job postings based on your preferences.
• Web Application: A dashboard at app.hidejobs.com providing job tracking, resume building, filter management, and account features.
• AI Features: AI-powered tools available on paid plans, including job analysis, keyword extraction, interview answer generation, email generation, resume bullet generation and analysis, and professional summary generation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using HideJobs, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is not intended for users under 16. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

Certain features — including cloud synchronization, application tracking, the resume builder, and paid subscriptions — require creating an account at app.hidejobs.com. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account information up to date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at info@hidejobs.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, inaccurate, or misleading information, or that violate these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Plan Tiers

HideJobs offers the following plans:

Legacy users on the grandfathered $2.99/month plan retain that pricing for as long as they remain continuously subscribed.

5.2 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro Filter plan. No payment is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your account automatically reverts to the Basic plan unless you subscribe. One trial per user.

5.3 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions are billed in advance based on the billing period you select. Available billing periods vary by plan and may include monthly, quarterly (3 months), or semi-annual (6 months) options.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe on behalf of Acreative Inc.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.

5.4 Cancellations

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings.
• Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Basic (Free) plan.

5.5 Upgrades and Downgrades

• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
• When upgrading, the change takes effect immediately and any unused time on your current plan is credited toward the new plan.
• When downgrading, the change takes effect immediately and access to higher-tier features ends at the time of the change.

5.6 Promo Codes

Promo codes, when valid, are applied automatically to eligible monthly plan purchases at checkout. Promo codes are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

5.7 Refunds

We do not offer refunds for subscription charges except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at info@hidejobs.com within 30 days of the charge.

6. Data Collection and Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• Extension data: The browser extension reads job listing data (titles, company names, job IDs, descriptions) from job platform pages you visit, solely to apply your filters locally.
• Cloud sync: When logged in, your filter lists, tracked applications, and resume data are synced to our servers (Google Firebase / Cloud Run).
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 with anonymized data. You control your consent via the cookie banner or Account Settings.
• Payments: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
• Email: We use Mailchimp for transactional and marketing emails to active subscribers. You may unsubscribe at any time.

7. AI-Powered Features

• AI features are available on the AI Power plan.
• AI-generated content (including job analyses, resume bullets, interview answers, and emails) is provided for informational and assistive purposes only.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before use.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated output.
• You must not use AI-generated content in a manner that is misleading, fraudulent, or violates any laws.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The HideJobs browser extension operates on third-party job platforms — including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Monster, ZipRecruiter, and Seek — by reading and modifying the appearance of those pages in your browser. You acknowledge that:

• HideJobs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these platforms.
• Use of the extension on third-party platforms is subject to those platforms' own terms of service. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance.
• We are not responsible for changes to third-party platforms that may affect the functionality of the extension.
• We make no guarantee that the extension will function on any specific version or layout of a third-party website.

9. Referral Program

• HideJobs may offer a referral program allowing users to earn rewards by inviting others to subscribe.
• Referral rewards are subject to additional terms communicated within the app.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time.
• Abuse of the referral program — including self-referrals, fake accounts, or fraudulent activity — will result in forfeiture of rewards and may result in account termination.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service or from job platforms via the extension for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or any other harmful content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials, referral rewards, or other promotional features.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account or subscription.
• Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of service of third-party platforms where the browser extension operates.

11. Intellectual Property

• All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including the software, UI design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Acreative Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes.
• You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service (resumes, job notes, career goals, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you.

12. Data Deletion

You may delete all locally stored extension data at any time using the Hard Reset option in the extension's help panel. To request deletion of your server-side data (tracked jobs, cloud-synced lists, resume data, account), visit Account Settings at app.hidejobs.com/account or contact us at info@hidejobs.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE; (B) ANY SPECIFIC JOBS WILL BE FOUND, HIDDEN, OR TRACKED SUCCESSFULLY; (C) AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS; OR (D) THE EXTENSION WILL FUNCTION CORRECTLY AFTER UPDATES TO THIRD-PARTY JOB PLATFORMS.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACREATIVE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $10 USD.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Acreative Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

16. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings or by uninstalling the extension.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction applicable to Acreative Inc.
