I'm Anton. I've always been the kind of person who can't leave a problem alone. When I see something broken or just working poorly, I want to improve it. That's exactly what happened when I was looking for a job on LinkedIn. I realized how much time the platform actually wastes. It felt like it was designed to keep me clicking and watching ads rather than helping me find work. The most annoying part was that it kept showing me job postings I already dismissed even though it literally said "We won't show you this job again". So I built HideJobs, first just for myself, to make the search faster and less painful. It started as a single button to hide jobs I was distracted by. Then I published it for everyone and started getting feedback from real users.

Turns out a lot of people had problems searching for jobs on LinkedIn and they wanted them solved. I listened and expanded HideJobs to hide jobs you already applied to, viewed, or promoted. I added blocking specific companies and made sure you never lose that companies list. When users asked for more, I built a deep scanner that detects and hides reposted jobs and jobs with over 100 applicants, something no other app or extension can do. I kept improving the interface to make it simple for anyone to use.

Today HideJobs is a browser extension and platform that helps you hide irrelevant jobs across 6 platforms, track your application progress, build resumes, and prepare for interviews with AI assistance. And it will keep growing, because helping job seekers find their next role faster is what this is all about.
